Google UX Design Professional Certification
In 2021, I enrolled in the newly introduced Google UX Design Professional curriculum hosted by Coursera. Before finding employment later that year, I completed 4 out of the 7 courses required to be certified. During my time as a student, I learned the foundations of UX design, building wireframes and prototypes, and the importance of research, feedback, and testing.

My app is still in progress, but the journey to this point allowed me to understand the UX process more in depth through research and
usability tests.

To the left is a looped video of interacting with the app capstone I've created. The final goal will be an app used by artists to process purchases and save relevant data.
Presentations and research

Through the use of usability testing and asking for feedback, I was able to learn the weak points of my app and gather insights on what to focus on as I progress with this project.
At certain checkpoints in the course, we had to gather our findings and insights and create presentations in order to stay organized and focused on the goal of refining the app. This was an excellent approach to take a step back and review all the information that was gathered.
Figma

The Figma application was utilized in this curriculum in order to create designs, especially low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys.
